WELCOME!

Peace Lutheran Church is looking for a few good men, women, and children!

On behalf of the members here at Peace Lutheran Church and myself, I would like to invite you to take a look at our website and get to know us a little bit. Then stop by on a Sunday morning and worship with us and say “hi” and give us an opportunity to get to know you a little bit. In the Apostle Peter’s first letter, chapter two, verse nine, we hear these words, “However, you are chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, people who belong to God. You were chosen to tell about the excellent qualities of God, who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light” (GWN). We know that God is always using us for His Kingdom purposes and maybe He would like to use you too, right here, with us, at Peace Lutheran Church in Winghaven.

The next time you feel like GOD can't use you, just remember…

Noah was a drunk

Abraham was too old

Isaac was a daydreamer

Jacob was a liar

Leah was ugly

Joseph was abused

Moses had a stuttering problem

Gideon was afraid

Samson had long hair and was a womanizer

Rehab was a prostitute

Jeremiah and Timothy were too young

David had an affair and was a murderer

Elijah was suicidal

Isaiah preached naked

Jonah ran from God

Naomi was a widow

Job went bankrupt

John the Baptist ate bugs

Peter denied Christ

The disciples fell asleep while praying

Martha worried about everything

The Samaritan woman was divorced, more than once

Zacchaeus was too small

Paul was too religious

Timothy had an ulcer…AND

Lazarus was dead!

No more excuses now!!

God can use you to your full potential.

Besides, you aren't the message, you are

just the messenger.

God bless!
